Excellent summary, thanks for writing. Two things:

1) I will look more into CBT's effectiveness over other options, mainly psychodynamic. However, I've seen this conclusion traded around a lot, and I always wonder if what's actually going on is that CBT has simply been studied more than other approaches. And, of course, mainly by CBT practitioners and advocates. Have you seen anything that convinces you that volume of studies/allegiance to the theory has nothing to do with the conclusion that CBT is better?

2) What do you mean by "Most of the result depends on the client and their environment."
